HOLIDAY HUMOUR IN FULL FOCUS

Dear Super Holiday Zanzibar Team

It is so wonderful to see all the humour still going on after our fabulous holiday. Dont think it will ever stop and to capture some of the good jokes within emails, I have copied some of the messages for our team members to read. Most have already been seen by all.

New fun updates will be added.

Regards - Benito

Subject: Missing you all holiday 'Lovebirds'

Dear All Holiday Lovebirds

Here we are back in cold and windy London missing all the glorious sunshine in Zanzibar and all our daily get-together's, wining, dining and having fun.

Only wish we had another couple of weeks more with Merwyn & Pervin at their palace in Bejeuu.

Miss the late night walks on the beautiful beach at Bejeuu and all that fabulous food at M&P's with the all day and night open bar.

Thanks for all your kind notes on your holiday experience and also for your personal kind messages. Merwyn, your last posting was very special and I am flattered. Nobody has ever said so much to me in the past. Makes me feel 10 foot tall. John your humour still goes on which is great. Look forward to your new rice & curry restaurant in Romantic Vancouver - dont worry, Pervin will send you the giant crabs from Zanzibar.

Thanks once again to you all. A holiday never to be forgotten.

Until we meet again. Take care.

Love & Best wishes

Benito & Betty

NEW UPDATE - 8 October 2008. John writes.....

Hey Patsy:

Where have you been me dear…..yes you missed a lot while taking those beach walks…..looks like Toto did all the chasing…. Me I tried to keep a low profile….. I think….We tried to sleep walk that night Toto and I slept on our comfortable mattress… we landed in D&D’s room…. Only to hear loud snoring….. You and Hilda locked your door that night……scratches on the door were evident the following morning that was Toto’s sharp finger nails. Then we almost made the trip to Rooky’s but the watchman at M&P gate stopped us… and we went back to sleep. We tried to get Merwyn back down stairs, but Pervin had that big sign on their door “Do Not Disturb” satisfaction in progress. … We did not attempt to bother “love birds” B&B…. Ranchod was too busy that evening….

Stay Tuned,

John

Mambo, Embe Dodo, Embe Dodo

Man this is so cool, now who were undoubtedly the love birds, appears only you Benny and Betty, Hilda and Patsy playing hard to get, Patsy refusing to dance with me, Pervin and Merwyn were too busy hosting, Derek too engrossed with his bike and camera, Diana too much of swimming with her newly discovered goggles, Tony Toto and me trying to find that “love in the air”, and romance we both did not make it that one glorious night we slept on the mattress in the living room hoping the night fairly would visit…. And our star Rooky, what should I say, we cannot have another trip without her……..

I searched high and dry on my video to get a glimpse of that “lovely creature” bathing in the ocean with a novel, but no such luck. We all wished we could stay there longer and as mentioned before it was the finest trip for me and I sure for you all. Now we are back home and we continue to reminisce of our trip and all that went with it in, in a nutshell just great. We all did what we had to do and did it in fine fashion.

We discovered Ranchod, Zanzibar Rock and Roll, London style Rock and Roll, and for some it was that newly discovered romance in the air…..yes Benny, we would have loved to read Mervyn’s personal posting to you….. And I am seriously thinking of opening that rice curry, fish and Z’bar crabs, place in exciting Vancouver so that all you folks can visit and we can have a ball stay tuned for updates….

On a serious note, Merwyn and Pervin, Tony Toto, Benny and Betty, and Patsy thanks ever so much for all your hard work and endeavours for making this trip a huge success.
Looking forward to seeing you all next June in Toronto.

Salaams Sana, vipi mabo, satisfaction…..

John

Hiya all,

Ok, own up - besides, B&B, M&P and D&D, who else were the lovebirds? Did I miss something whilst on my daily early morning run on Bwejuu beach ??????? John & Toto you little rascals - bet you guys were racing off to see Rooky each evening after we'd all gone to bed! Ha ha. It was an extraordinary experience and one never to be forgotten.

Settling back to normal life is hard isn't it? I too miss our time particularly at Bwejuu and Zanzibar town. But listen team, Zanzibar is still there and we can always go back, can't we? Count me in for the next trip.

All love & xxxx Pats xxx

Dear Ben & Bet

Hope you like your new names. WOW you guys are really amazing, unbelievable, and mind blowing. Just how you could have produced so much in such a short time kills me. I guess I can attribute it only to team work. I knew you were king of rock n roll, a gifted musician a great diver, a fab singer, an accomplished dancer, a witty couple, a terrific organiser an avid paparatsi, and that you even ride a bike. To add a feather in your cap and by the powers vested in me by the chief of the Korokocho tribe of northern Tanzania I bestow upon you the much sought and fought over title of RANCHOT. You may from now on print after your name [MRSR] or in other words Member of the Royal Society of Ranchot. Yes you are indeed an amazing couple.

We had such a wit of a time, such a bag full of laughter, my sides ache if I stop laughing and tons of happy memories. Please do not forget the cross country you did with Derick on the cycle, the Andrew sisters doing their Karaoke thing, and Mr. Bean specialising in sun-set shots.

I could just go on and on but the next group should be landing in two hours and Pervin has just left for the airport. I am expecting my elder sinter Linda and her husband from the States, to be followed by my eldest sister Norma and her husband from Bombay and my 88 year old Aunt from Goa.

The job you did on the Wildersun site is just tops I am running out of superlatives for you. Once again thanks a ton.

Fond loves

Merwyn

Hello my darlings,

Ok no more thank you's. As Rooky would say, I'm done.
Pervin try going on http://www.zanzibar-benitosparadise.com/ to view the pics.
That's what I do. As far as saying I should have extended my ticket, you're right, I should have done. Too late now, but not too late to decide another trip could be arranged for maybe next year. So watch this space. Mum is beginning to worry that I'll leave England for good!

She & Philly came over for lunch yesterday and spent hours pouring over the pics - they got so excited seeing everyone and particularly trying to remember the street names etc. I think my enthusiasm for Zanzibar has rubbed off on them. They send their salaams to you all.

Benny you certainly have done a terrific job with the web site. Just fantastic.

Black magic - simple!!! But I won't tell you the secret just yet. I think Brian and Jervin will probably want to enjoy getting you to rack your brains a little longer and of course with Merwyn's sis and brother in law and your other relatives coming in, they can continue with the game playing.

M & P enjoy the family visits and B & B take a break from the pics & videos.

Love & hugs. Pats xx

Dear Benny,

Wow Benny, what an amazing man you are - and I can't think of anyone else who would be able to tackle this mammoth job as well as yourself. There must be at least a million fabulous pics in there - how you can even begin to decide which ones to include I don't know - so I take my hat off to you.

To be honest, I stopped taking pics after our first day at Tembo, deciding it was better to leave it to the experts. However, the few I did take, I've since checked and comparing them to Derek's & I'm sure yours, they are dreadful, and not worthy of being included. So I'm not even going to send you any - you seem to have enough on your plate as it is.

I'm not sure Derek has had a chance to download his pics - like you, he seemed to have taken hundreds, but I'm sure he'll get them to you asap.

Can't wait to see your website and receiving those special 'girlie' pics!
Thanks for taking the responsibility of sorting out the pics - you're a star.

Much love, Pats xx

Thank You Merwyn & Pervin

Dear Merwyn & Pervin,
THANKS A MILLION

Where do we begin?
There will never be enough words to thank you both for all you have done to make our ‘Group holiday’ one of the most memorable on record.

You welcomed us with open arms to your beautiful home we call Palace in Bejeu, and we were treated like royalty to the highest degree being waited on by your staff night and day.

You made us feel so welcome on arrival at Bejeu with a fresh coconut welcome drink followed later with champagne and canapés on your balcony.

Your fresh fish and sea food menus plus ‘dig dig’ specially selected for us during our say was a treat beyond our expectations, not forgetting our Zanzibar style breakfasts, super lunches and dinners, and the ‘HAPPY HOUR’ bar going into 24 hours was the icing on the cake. What more could one ask for.

Our daily swimming and midnight walks under the stars along endless white sands is something we will always remember.

The late night chit chat on your beach bench with the full moon above and the gentle sound of the waves was very special and only found in Zanzibar.

Thank you for kindly organising the great Sunday lunch party on our behalf, and it was wonderful meeting up with all Zanzibari’s. What a great reunion.

It was very kind of you both to join us during our full stay in Zanzibar, firstly at the Tembo hotel in stone town and later at the 5 star all-inclusive La Gemma dell’est in Nungwi. We certainly had fun all day long.

Special thanks to you for organising our superb Safari where we had the pleasure of having the boss Merwyn join us together with his best safari driver Emmanuel.

Once again we felt most at home at your dream home in Arusha where we met up with your lovely family. The farewell dinner was superb, and the breakfast and lunch the next day was a knock.

Thank you most sincerely for all your kindness and hospitality extended to us all, and hope it will not be too long before we can reciprocate.

We welcome you both to our home in London anytime you choose and hope it won’t be too long before we can continue with the fun, laughter and listen to Merwyn’s great jokes.

As a token of remembrance, I have set up special website, but now Ranchod (Benito) will be taking a long break from ‘photo take-outing’ …. HOLIDAY ALBUMS

Dear Tony

Accommodation and Travel arrangements

Here we are back home in cold and rainy London just thinking about the fabulous time we all enjoyed on your paradise island Zanzibar.

The excitement is still buzzing and emails flying around from all the rest of our team members all anxious to view all the photos ‘Ranchod’ (Benito) has taken. This name given to me by Pervin. Hope Ranchod’s photos are not too bad. (Pervin will be the judge).

Well I made a start yesterday setting up a quick website and loading some photos. This was not an easy task as I have over a 1,000 photos plus five 90 minutes each video.

I also have some photos from Rooky, Derek, Hilda and Felix Fernandes to add to the photo albums.

On behalf of all our team members, I wish to thank you for all you have done in helping make our holiday most enjoyable.

Your good company was very special and Patsy has said it all in her note to you.

Look forward to you visiting us in London during December 2008.
Love and best wishes – Benny & Betty

Dear Bulu, Felix, Anita, Lenny, Meg, Florence & Linda

BBQ Party at Bulu’s Mansion

Just a quick ‘THANK YOU’ for kindly hosting a fabulous BBQ party which we greatly enjoyed.
You all certainly went out of your way to make it a very memorable occasion for all our team members.

The wonderful food and drinks flowing was a treat and Tony Madeira made sure to keep my glass topped up all evening.

The dancing was also great fun enjoyed by all. Captured you on video which I will send to you but unfortunately a bit dark due to the dim lighting.

On behalf of all our team members I wish to thank you all most sincerely.

Best regards and love to all.
Benny & Betty
